Surakarta, 30 Januari 2025 – Prestasi membanggakan kembali ditorehkan oleh atlet Tapak Suci Universitas Muhammadiyah Kudus (UMKU) dalam ajang Turnamen Nasional 1 Tapak Suci Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) yang berlangsung di Edutorium KH. Ahmad Dahlan UMS pada 27–30 Januari 2025.
Tapak Suci UMKU mengirimkan 9 atlet dan 4 manajer tim untuk berlaga di kejuaraan bergengsi ini. Alhamdulillah, perjuangan keras mereka membuahkan hasil dengan raihan 2 medali,
Medali Emas: M. Khoirul Anam yang bertanding di Kelas D Putra, sedangkan medali perunggu berhasil diraih oleh Nasywa Nisrina Dzakiyatul Ulwi yang bertanding di Kelas D Putri
Prestasi ini menjadi bukti bahwa Tapak Suci UMKU mampu bersaing di tingkat nasional dan terus berkembang menjadi kekuatan yang diperhitungkan dalam dunia pencak silat.
“Alhamdulillah, kerja keras, latihan, dan semangat juang dari para atlet membuahkan hasil. Semoga prestasi ini menjadi motivasi bagi kami untuk terus berkembang dan mengharumkan nama UMKU di kancah nasional maupun internasional,” ujar pelatih Abdullah Fattakhu Thomah
Turnamen ini menjadi ajang pembuktian bagi para atlet Tapak Suci dari berbagai perguruan tinggi Muhammadiyah se-Indonesia. Keikutsertaan UMKU dalam kompetisi ini sekaligus menjadi langkah nyata dalam membina atlet berprestasi dan mengembangkan potensi mahasiswa dalam bidang olahraga.
