Kudus, 22 April 2025 – Sebanyak 55 mahasiswa dari Angkatan 7 dan 8 Program Studi Apoteker Universitas Muhammadiyah Kudus (UMKU) resmi diangkat sumpah profesinya dalam acara yang berlangsung penuh khidmat di kampus UMKU. Kegiatan ini menandai langkah penting bagi para mahasiswa yang telah menyelesaikan pendidikan mereka dan siap mengabdikan diri di bidang farmasi.
Acara dimulai dengan sambutan Ketua Kolegium Farmasi, Prof. Dr. Apt. Dyah Aryani Perwitasari, M.Si., Ph.D., yang menyampaikan pesan penting terkait pelanggaran etika dalam profesi apoteker. “Profesi apoteker adalah profesi yang disumpah untuk menjaga etika dalam menjalankan tugasnya, yaya berharap, para apoteker muda yang hari ini diangkat sumpahnya bisa menjadi teladan dalam mematuhi etika profesi, baik dalam bidang farmasi maupun dalam kehidupan sehari-hari,” ujar Dyah Aryani.
Sambutan berikutnya disampaikan oleh Ibu Riptieni Tri Lutiarsi, S.KM., M.Kes., Kepala Bidang Sumber Daya Kesehatan Dinas Kesehatan Jawa Tengah, yang mewakili Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Jawa Tengah. Ibu Riptieni mengungkapkan bahwa provinsi Jawa Tengah memiliki 81 Puskesmas dan 361 rumah sakit, yang semuanya masih sangat membutuhkan tenaga profesional, termasuk apoteker. “Kami berharap, para apoteker yang baru diangkat sumpah ini dapat berperan aktif dalam membantu menurunkan angka stunting dan memberikan pelayanan kesehatan yang berkualitas,” jelasnya.
Wakil Rektor I Universitas Muhammadiyah Kudus, Sukarmin, M.Kep.Ns., Sp.Kep.MB., juga memberikan sambutan yang penuh harapan.
“Selamat atas pencapaiannya, pengucapan lafal sumpah hanya beberapa menit saja. Tapi, dari prosesi singkat itu, maknanya sangat dalam. Ini sekaligus menjadi permulaan bagi praktik kefarmasian Saudara yang sangat panjang.” katanya
Beliau mengungkapkan kebanggaannya atas pencapaian program studi Apoteker UMKU yang baru saja mendapatkan hasil akreditasi yang sangat baik. “Pencapaian ini adalah bukti bahwa kami selalu berkomitmen untuk menjaga kualitas pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, selain menjaga etika, kami juga berharap para apoteker muda ini bisa menjaga norma agama dan memberikan kontribusi yang positif bagi masyarakat,” ujarnya.
Acara tersebut diakhiri dengan pengucapan sumpah profesi oleh 55 mahasiswa Apoteker Angkatan 7 dan 8 yang kini resmi menjadi bagian dari profesi apoteker. Dengan semangat baru dan komitmen tinggi, mereka siap menjalankan tugas mulia sebagai apoteker yang bertanggung jawab terhadap kesehatan masyarakat. (AR)
